Tread Information
Supersafe Systems own the patent for the Supersafe Systems Tread product range. Our Treads are an extremely robust anti-slop surface made from the highest quality materials available.
Tread backing is manufactured using 304 stainless steel, 3CR12 or galvanise which is bent at a 90 degree angle with a radius of 4mm. This angle creates a grip for the foot. A special flexible twin pack epoxy with alumina oxide or silicon carbide grit is introduced along with material restrain. This unique mix results in an effective non slip finish with extremely strong cross sectional strength.

Installation:
The product is installed by means of 5mm bolts, nyloc nuts and 3mm galvanised or stainless steel clamps. On concrete and checker plate stairs a single pack polyurethane seal is used to prevent water ingress and underfoot noise.
Multi Tapes, a variation of reflectorized and luminescent safety tapes are used side by side to offer a triple safety feature on Treads.

Landing plates
Landing plates are normally used on the exit area on top and bottom of a flight of stairs already using a non-slip finish.
Plates are manufactured to customer specifications.
